What We Handle

Dispatch Support Built Around Your Authority

OTW works as an extension of your operation. You set the lanes, equipment limits, minimums, and availability. We work the desk within those instructions.

01

Load Sourcing

Search approved load boards and broker contacts for freight that matches your equipment, lanes, schedule, and operating requirements.

02

Rate Negotiation

Negotiate load compensation and present the complete option to you for approval before booking.

03

Broker Review

Support broker setup, carrier packets, rate confirmations, and basic credit or payment-term review.

04

Load Coordination

Track appointments, relay shipment updates, and help keep communication organized from pickup through delivery.

05

Paperwork Support

Organize rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and load records so completed freight is ready for billing or factoring.

06

Accessorial Follow-Up

Document and follow up on detention, layover, TONU, and other approved accessorial requests when applicable.

Transparent Dispatch Pricing

Rates That Match the Work Required

The percentage applies only to gross linehaul revenue on loads OTW books and manages. Fuel surcharge and reimbursable accessorials are excluded from the dispatch-fee calculation.

New Authority

Authority Builder

10% of OTW-booked linehaul

For carriers whose operating authority has been active for less than six months.

  • Higher-touch broker setup and packet support
  • Lane and rate-expectation planning
  • Carrier approves every load
Fleet Pricing

Established Fleet

6.5% of OTW-booked linehaul

For authorities active at least six months with five or more active trucks enrolled in dispatch service.

  • Volume pricing across the enrolled fleet
  • Coordinated truck and lane planning
  • Newer multi-truck authorities receive a custom quote
Pricing basis: Authority age is measured from the FMCSA operating-authority grant date. “Active trucks” means trucks consistently available under the same carrier authority and enrolled in OTW dispatch service. Final scope, billing timing, and responsibilities are documented in the signed dispatch agreement.
How It Works

A Clear Carrier-Controlled Process

Dispatch begins only after fit review, carrier verification, and a signed agreement that defines OTW’s role as your dispatch agent.

Define the Plan

Share your equipment, preferred lanes, availability, operating limits, and minimum rate expectations.

Review Options

OTW sources and negotiates freight that fits your instructions, then presents the load details.

You Approve

Your carrier retains final authority to accept or reject every load. OTW does not force dispatch.

We Coordinate

After approval, OTW supports booking, broker paperwork, communication, and delivery documentation.

Carrier-Side Service

Clear Dispatch Boundaries

OTW Dispatch Services is designed to operate as the authorized motor carrier’s dispatch agent—not as an unlicensed freight broker.

  • A written dispatch agreement appoints OTW to act under the carrier’s direction.
  • The carrier retains control of load acceptance, lanes, pricing minimums, equipment, and operating decisions.
  • OTW sources freight through brokers and does not solicit shippers directly for freight.
  • OTW is paid only by the carrier under the written dispatch agreement and does not accept freight payments from brokers or factoring companies.
  • OTW does not accept a shipment first, allocate it among carriers, or search the open carrier market for someone to move it.
  • Service is subject to authority, insurance, safety, equipment, lane, and broker eligibility requirements.
