WHAT THE NAME MEANS

STEP FORWARD. STAY ACCOUNTABLE. FINISH THE JOB.

Outside the wire is where the plan meets reality. At OTW, it means taking responsibility when the route changes, communication gets difficult, or the freight needs a decision. We do not hide behind a dispatch queue. The owner stays involved, gives clear answers, and follows the shipment through proof of delivery.

About Outside The Wire Logistics

Direct answers. One owner accountable.

Outside The Wire Logistics is led by David Bryant, a United States Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient with nearly two decades of logistics, route-management and freight-operations experience.

Where the name comes from

Outside the wire means leaving the protected perimeter.

In military language, going outside the wire means leaving the relative safety of a base and entering the place where the work must be done. The company name carries that idea forward without turning it into a slogan.

For OTW, it means dealing with the real conditions of the load, communicating early and staying accountable when plans change.

The owner

Experience before the company. Accountability inside it.

David Bryant is the Owner and Managing Member of Outside The Wire Logistics LLC. His background spans Marine Corps logistics, route management, transportation safety, driver leadership and freight operations.

Before founding OTW in May 2026, David spent nearly fourteen years leading route and delivery operations at UPS in Nashville and Atlanta. That experience now shapes how OTW plans work, communicates exceptions and closes out documentation.

Customers and partners work with an owner who understands the operating details and has the authority to make decisions.

Why the company exists

Freight works better when accountability stays close to the work.

Outside The Wire Logistics was founded in May 2026 after David's career in military and civilian transportation. The company operates on a practical rule: give people a clear answer, document the plan and address problems while there is still time to act.

OTW is growing deliberately across brokerage, carrier, dispatch and government contracting. The structure may expand, but owner accountability remains central.

01

Clear answers

We explain the fit, the next step and any limits without making you chase an update.

02

Early communication

Changes are reported when action is still possible, not after the service failure.

03

Accurate paperwork

Rates, load details, status records and closeout documents are treated as part of the work.

04

Owner accountability

David remains responsible for the company's commitments and the decisions behind them.

Built to grow honestly. OTW operates a small carrier fleet, evaluates lanes nationwide and can scale qualified work through owner-operator and carrier partners. The company does not present partner capacity as equipment it owns.
