Week in the Lane: Aug 15–21

This is the first weekly recap of where the fleet actually moved. Saturday through Friday, Aug 15–21. Fifteen loads on the current tracker. 15,937 company miles (loaded plus deadhead, as entered). If a row had no miles, it would not be in that total. Every lane below is on the file.

Florida and the South carried a lot of the week. A 26-foot box ran Orlando to Sarasota. Another 26-foot box was Tampa to Dulles, still in transit at week’s end. A third left Groveland, Florida, for Rowlett, Texas, on Friday. Contractor equipment ran Fort Worth to Durham. Phoenix to Clearwater was already moving on a 26-foot box, delivery after Friday.

The West stayed busy on non-CDL open deck. The F-250 covered Edwards AFB, California to Fallon, Nevada; Fernley, Nevada to Heber, California; and San Diego to Las Vegas. A 26-foot box ran Las Vegas to Phoenix. Contractor equipment ran Cheyenne, Wyoming to Abilene, Texas.

Longer hauls filled the rest of the map. Atlanta to Denver delivered Saturday. A 26-foot box ran Williston, Vermont to Salt Lake City. Contractor equipment ran Burgettstown, Pennsylvania to Barnhart, Missouri, and Sikeston, Missouri to Rowley, Massachusetts. Friday also put contractor equipment on Liberty, North Carolina to Hutchinson, Kansas, for a next-week delivery.

Equipment this week was types we already run: 26-foot box trucks, F-250 open-deck, and contractor equipment. Most of the work was non-CDL. CDL contractor equipment covered the Pennsylvania–Missouri and Missouri–Massachusetts lanes. We did not put an owner F-350 on this recap. It was not dispatched.

Some of these trucks were still rolling at 5 p.m. Friday. That is the point of a recap, not a scoreboard. Next week we will do it again from the current tracker, same rules: no driver names, no invented miles, no lifetime stats.
