Effective October 5, 2026 · Outside The Wire Android game
Outside The Wire (com.outsidethewiregames.outsidethewire) is provided by Outside The Wire Logistics LLC. This policy covers the game and optional store features, not freight services or CarrierOS. Older offline editions do not contain account or purchase features.
Free gameplay and local information
Playing does not require an account or a purchase. Campaign progress, assignments, upgrades, mission results, preferences and optional play diagnostics stay on your device. We do not upload campaign progress or use advertising or analytics SDKs. Local diagnostics can be viewed, disabled or cleared in the optional debug panel. We do not sell personal information.
No game sign-in in version 0.27.0
Version 0.27.0 does not create a game account or request your Google name, email or profile for purchases. Google Play uses the Play Store account already on your device. Earlier sign-in editions used Google and Firebase Authentication to process account identifiers, names, emails, profile images and authentication tokens, with technical information such as IP addresses for abuse prevention. Existing account data remains subject to deletion requests below. Your Google account itself is not created or deleted by this game.
Optional supporter purchase
In billing-enabled Android editions, Google Play handles checkout and payment details. We do not receive your card number. Our Google Cloud/Firebase billing service verifies and stores purchase information, including product, order and purchase identifiers, purchase state, timestamps and a pseudonymous receipt identifier (or the existing account identifier for purchases from earlier versions). Purchase tokens are encrypted in our purchase database. We use these records to provide and restore the permanent supporter badge, acknowledge purchases, prevent fraud and respond to refunds. No paid vehicle, weapon or Hero packs are offered in this release. Poker uses free virtual chips that cannot be purchased, transferred or redeemed for money.
Security services and providers
Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity process app/device integrity information and technical identifiers to protect the store. Google Cloud infrastructure processes request and security logs. These services are used for purchase verification and fraud prevention, not advertising. Network communications use encryption in transit. Providers may process information outside your country. No system can guarantee complete security.
Delete an account or data
Use Supporter store → Request account & data deletion, or visit https://www.outsidethewirelogistics.com/outside-the-wire-account-deletion, or email David@outsidethewirelogistics.com with the subject “Outside The Wire account deletion.” You do not need to reinstall the game or sign in to the app to request deletion. For an earlier sign-in account, contact us from the email used for game sign-in. For a Play-only purchase, provide its Google Play order number privately by email; we may verify ownership before acting. Never share a purchase token. Never send passwords, card numbers or sign-in codes.
We will delete the game authentication account and associated personal data that is no longer needed. Limited purchase, refund, security or correspondence records may need to be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention or resolving a transaction; we will explain any applicable exception and retention period when handling your request. Deletion is not a refund and may affect access to the badge or restoration. We will explain the effect before completing the request. It does not delete your Google account.
Local storage and retention
Local progress remains until you reset the campaign, use Android Settings → Apps → Outside The Wire → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall. Local campaign progress cannot be restored by us; Android app backup is disabled. Clearing local storage does not delete online account or purchase records. We retain account data while your account is active and purchase records as needed to provide permanent ownership/restoration and meet the exceptions above. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle requests and applicable obligations.
Support, children and website visits
Support email and attachments are processed by our email provider to respond to you. Do not send sensitive documents. The game contains fictional military combat and simulated poker and is intended for ages 16 and older, subject to regional store ratings. It is not designed for young children. Contact us about deletion of a child's information. The app does not request contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos or advertising identifiers.
Visiting our business website is separate from gameplay. Squarespace processes website traffic and technical information. Google Play and Android also process information under their own policies. See policies.google.com/privacy and squarespace.com/privacy.
